Official Appointment of Assistant Professor Dr. Rudee Pungbangkadee as Consultant to OMCC

The Overseas Mon Coordinating Committee (OMCC) is pleased to announce the official appointment of Assistant Professor Dr. Rudee Pungbangkadee as Consultant to OMCC, following unanimous approval by the OMCC Executive Meeting.
Dr. Rudee’s appointment reflects her distinguished academic achievements, professional leadership, and longstanding commitment to public health, education, and community development. Her expertise will provide valuable strategic guidance to advance OMCC’s mission and strengthen its work in health, education, and social development.
Assistant Professor Dr. Rudee Pungbangkadee is a respected nursing scholar, educator, and public health leader with more than two decades of experience in nursing education, healthcare leadership, and community service. She currently serves as Assistant Professor and Nursing Instructor in the Faculty of Nursing at Mahidol University, one of Thailand’s leading academic institutions.
She holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Chiang Mai University. She has completed advanced academic and professional training at Mahidol University, Assumption University, and the University of California, San Francisco, where she served as a Visiting Doctoral Student.
Dr. Rudee’s work has focused on maternal and child health, migrant health, and preventive healthcare, with research addressing adolescent pregnancy, tobacco control, and maternal health risks. In addition to her academic contributions, she has held several professional and community leadership roles, including service on Thailand’s Nurse Network on Tobacco Control and previous leadership of the Mon Youth Community in Bangkok.
Her contributions have been recognized through multiple professional honors for excellence in nursing, public health, and academic service.
